Mark Valenti began his career with The City Players
Theater Group in his native St. Louis, Missouri. He later
attended the Strasberg Theater Institute in Los Angeles,
where he studied writing and acting for three years.
Valenti spent five years working in production and
development for Steven Spielberg and John Hughes before
turning his attentions to his own original screenplays.
Menno's Mind is based on a short story he originally wrote
in high school. He also wrote the 1998 Fox Family Channel
movie, Like Father, Like Santa.
